Abstract

The specific objectives of this PTS activity are to: a) Increase work motivation in the preparation of RPP for SMP Negeri 1 Panca Lautang teachers in classroom learning activities; b) Improve the skills of SMP Negeri 1 Panca Lautang teachers in compiling lesson plans that support the creation of a pleasant learning atmosphere; and, 3) Increasing the pedagogical ability of teachers in teaching and learning activities. While the general purpose of this school action research activity is to determine the application of academic supervision by school supervisors to increase work motivation in the preparation of social studies teacher lesson plans in teaching and learning activities at SMP Negeri 1 Panca Lautang. So that the authors see the need for improvement in learning to achieve these goals. The conclusions obtained from this PTS activity are 1) The application of academic supervision by school supervisors to social studies teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Panca Lautang can increase teacher work motivation in preparing lesson plans and teaching and learning activities in class. 2) The results of the analysis show that the increase in the ability of social studies teachers to create a pleasant classroom atmosphere of teaching and learning has implications for increasing student participation or activity as well as teaching and learning activities that can affect student achievement.
