This study aims at improving the activity and performance of students of class XI IPA 5 SMA Negeri 2 Buru Education Year 2022/2023 on the basic material of reaction rate. This study is a Class Action Research (PTK) consisting of two cycles, each cycle consists of four stages namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study are students of Class XI IPA 5 SMA Negeri 2 Buru Students of the 2022/2023 academic year. The data source is teachers and students. Data collected from interviews, observations, lifts, and tests. Data analyzed with qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The research results showed that the learning model Make a Match can improve the learning activity of students of class XI IPA 5 SMA Negeri 2 Buru Skills Year 2022/2023 on reaction rate material (78.33% in cycle I) and student chemistry learning achievement of class XI IPA 5 SMA Negeri 2 Skills year 2022/2023 about reaction speed material (cognitive aspects 43.3% in Cycle I and 86.67% in Cycles II; student affective aspects 81.67% on Cycle 1; student psychomotor aspects 100% on Cycles I).
